Set DPI to at least 200 and increase canvas size to around 1000x1000 or hiogher; you can shrink the file down later. I usually work in canvases at 10x8 inches and 350 DPI

my favorite website on the internet rn https://www.ctrlpaint.com/library/

I mean you should probably include a link to your novel, here you guys go https://tapas.io/episode/801408 You should also include a link to your comic in your forum profile so it has more opportunities to draw in eyes. What are your ideas for a thumbnail and banner? Do you need someone with more o…

o dang, thanks everyone for answering! I have a hard time accepting old work and I've never done such a large project, so I'm glad I could get some feedback from vet creators. I guess it's pretty unrealistic to expect to be completely satisfied with 100% of your own comic forever :U

Why not just have him get drunk in his robot costume? It would probably make more sense than to have him conveniently keep a "coma-cola" in his fridge. A sad man who sells balloons and drinks alone in his work costume is the perfect character archetype for an apocalypse plot. Also gonna have to ag…

So I was wondering, for those of you who have been working on your comic for a long time, how do you feel about your first pages? Do you look back and think they're horrible compared to what you can do now? How long ago did you start them? Do most independent comic makers feel a level of satisfactio…

For those of you who said Tuesday mornings, can you list a timezone?

A hungry rat falls in love with a sentient bagel.

I feel like the only thing that matters to me in a comic is how well it can tell a story visually and how well the expressions read. Anything outside of that is raspberries.

It's pretty rare to find an artist willing to work on a comic for free, they would have to be pretty invested in the project. That being said, it'd probably help to tell us what the story is about, how many chapters it is, how large of a comic you intend to produce, etc.

Probably not. It's like baking a whole cake but having no friends to eat it with. Sure you get a whole cake to yourself, but it just kinda makes you sad and unfulfilled.

I'm from USA and it works fine for English. I know someone from Australia who can send a confirmation if you need one from there. (Also followed you :> )

Well, see I think one of the problems you have here is that you don't even have your comic linked in your forum profile. Second, I dunno if you know this, but becoming famous is no quick or easy feat, unless you make a sex tape. Becoming infamous is pretty easy though. Remember that movie, Minions?…

Minimum wage: $10 an hour. Depends on what I'm doing though.

Any program can be free if you know where to find it! I have a cracked version of PS which is probably the best thing I have. Though Illustrator really is top notch for comics, I've had some trouble finding newer versions.. If you want something official and decent for free, I rec Medibang

Oh man I love ramen but it makes me sick so I just eat a lot of apples. I'm probably like 65% apples.

lol oki. I'm Heck and I'm broke.

o man that is cute ;-; @joannekwan Yep just some normal cats doin cat... stuff. It does sound cute but I'm not familiar with the BL fandom so I don't know how it'd be received :u

I've been contemplating on making a BL about two regular cats just to see if I attract the same kind of fandom. Does BL work if it's just like... some cats, or does it have to be cute human boys with CHESTS?

Hi I am a good artist but I am willing to do this quality of work for free: [image] This is Mosquitoman. If you want something with more detail that'll cost extra.

I'm... not sure how to as this but, what do you mean by "special"?

Because then you have huge file sizes and some sites (like tapas) don't allow it. Your art will look better when you compress pixels down from a larger size instead of working with a tiny amount of pixels. A smaller file size means it's quicker to load and easier to tack onto the web, but a high-qua…

An artist who has the time, energy, skill, and dedication to pour into someone else's personal project... for free. I do not believe such a person exists.

Same here, backgrounds are so time-consuming that makes my life much easier just to have a skeleton. For house interiors I like to just make them myself in Sims 2, but I also use reference photos for color and lighting ideas. For outdoor stuff I use sketchup, but I'm currently looking for something…

So do you mean an "american girl" stereotype or just any girl in the country? Because it's a huge place and each state kind of has their own little world.
