A cloud of jellyfish seems a great idea. I personally see my plants as children, at least that's the closest to children I'll ever want haha
Now for my characters:
Zerwan is a teenager and he's an only child. He probably don't have much contact with kids. I think he would like them, though, and I imagine he could become a parent later under some circumstances.
Leelah is also a teenager, an orphan and living by her own means. She often had to help younger homeless kids, but more by duty than by affection; she has no interest in children.
Hlaluu is also a teenager and has lived in isolation most of his life. At this point he must have no opinion on children, but he's a patient and calm person, so I suppose he would at least tolerate them.
Tsegerl is the only important character of my comic who is an adult; he's in his late thirties and according to him, he has no kids (most other characters think otherwise, though). He's very sociable and likes the company of adults and kids alike. He's a close friend of Zerwan's father, and had a huge influence on little Zerwan's education; Zerwan actually consider him as an extra father figure.
