(CLOSED) Which genre should I pick if my novel is evenly balanced? (CLOSED)

I'm unsure if I should list my novel as primarily a sci-fi, a romance or an action-adventure. With the direction I'm taking it, it feels as if what I'm writing will be an even split between the three. Since I can't seem to choose, then I'm wondering--for view and subscriber sake--which should I go with?

That is tough if you have to pick just two. I know you said its pretty evenly balanced, but pick what you want to focus more on. After reading your synopsis I think more sci-fi romance, where the relationship going to drive the story. And the alien girl and her alien views are going to impact the story, what she thinks and does. That's what I think anyways.

My original plan was for it to be mostly romance, but then a few ideas hit me over the head. Now I want to do more of everything with it. I may as well keep it listed as romance though, you're right, and thank you.

What audience are you trying to market towards? Remember, genre's there for the readers not the writers. If you want to attract Romance readers and your cover reflects that? Go for romance. If it's scifi? Go scifi. It's really upto you <3

When I select the genres, it asks me which "main genre" it falls under, and I'm assuming that makes a difference when people are looking for something. It probably doesn't matter then?
