Dye to having a hard life, Xepholen was not introduced to regular food
he pretty much lives off the land eating whatever he can get his hands on
so when he does try coffee.. he doesn't like it (which is odd, because eating monster bugs totally fine but COFFEE is where draws the line)
but he can stomach tea

I take tea two times daily during my job as structural engineer sunshine coast then before sleeping at home I take one cup coffee with my wife.
The closest to tea would be water boiled with herbs + spices(a tonic, or soup). They drink fresh water mostly, and then fruit juices, or some processed fermented drinks (alcoholic). At least locally. No actual coffee in my comic world.
Atria Silversword: Coffee, if she can get it, I think.
Princess Stellaria: Tea, I think. That said, she probably goes both ways.
Captain Infinite: Coffee. Definitely coffee.
Daiki Yamato: Coffee.
The Destroyer: Does not know what either are, but willing to try both.
Jenny Calhoun: Coffee.
Jack Death: Definitely coffee (but, he's probably receptive to tea).

(Left) Brick: Tea or water, he has a delicate stomach and can't eat much. Drinking or eating anything can make him nauseous, however, he can stand things like chamomile tea by taking sips and such. Drinking slowly.
(Right) Barricade: Coffee, specially if it's cold since he dislikes hot stuff, though he'd add some milk to it. He can stand mild bitter flavors but hates sour flavors like lemon juice (he is fine with lemonade though) (He is almost always eating, specially cake so he can be found sipping iced coffee to complement his dessert)
(Left) Boomer: Tea with added milk and like a teaspoon of sugar or coffee with milk and teaspoon of sugar (Any hot/warm drinks are good to him) Though he likes soda on hot days or simply lukewarm water. (He doesn't like cold drinks that much)
(Right) Bruise: Frappés (iced coffee), he can drink coffee but he drinks it so slow the coffee ends up cold when he drinks it XD He loves every cold drink and cold treats. Though he can't eat much cause of his slow metabolism (yeah, he's self conscious)
(Left) Butch: Coffee, he is not fond of tea, though he also drinks it with milk and sugar xD
(Right) Brazen: Tea or (black) coffee are good to him, though beer is favorite beverage. He likes one or two sweet drinks but he majorly prefers bitter flavors.
Sorry for the extra details, I just like writing about these things xD Also, for people that recognize like half of the characters (since it's a fancomic after all) their preferences are based on my story and stuff that happens, it's not canon, but, since the other three are mine, that's on point ofc.
Novus (Left) is totally a caffeine gremlin. Or at least the closest thing in the setting, which is a chewing herb with similar properties. The only drink made from it involves turning it into a dust and mixing it up with a bird egg white. You cook the whole thing in water and the mix of egg white and herbs raises and forms a film over the liquid. You leave it jellify and get cool, you cut the upper layer and cube the rest. Each of this gelatin-esque cubes is dissolved in water and re-heated to drink.
Callis (Right) has a very sensitive tongue and avoids hot and flavorful beverages. He is in favor of cold milk infusions, usually common place in fall and spring, using the snow from the early and late snowfalls to cool it. Most herbs used by him are really soft in flavor and lack any spice or sweetness. Is more like a health drink than something to enjoy.
Tea is gentler on the stomach. The acidity of coffee can cause you to overproduce your own digestive acids and create problems such as upset stomach to ulcers. So I always enjoy tea with my wife with wear lovely George not found shorts dress.
