Hi everyone!
I’m Daiesha, a published author (here is a novel of mine here) and a creator on Tapas and Webtoon. I’m currently collaborating with an amazing line artist, Kat, on adapting my novel into a webcomic. Kat is focusing on lineart, and we’re now looking for a flat artist to join our team!
About the Project:
Title: Over the Clouds (webcomic adaptation of my novel)
Genre: Romance / Comedy / Drama (with a twist, the world also includes monsters, though they aren’t the main focus)
Format: Webtoon-style episodes
Current Status: Scripts and lineart are underway, aiming to release within the next few weeks.
Blurb: In a broken world, she lost everything. In a new dimension, she might lose herself. When Soren loses the love of her life, she doesn't expect to wake up in another reality. One where the sky is blue, her hands aren't stained with grief, and someone else is wearing her face. Haunted by a death that may not have happened, she stumbles into a world that's familiar but fractured and meets Dakota, a man who may hold the answers.. or destroy everything all over again. As memories twist and realities blur, Soren must decide: is this her second chance or a trap with no escape?
What We’re Looking For:
A flat artist who can handle coloring flats consistently.
Someone excited to collaborate and grow with the project.
Reliability and communication are more important than being 'perfect'. This is also a great opportunity for practice and portfolio work.
Compensation:
This is a rev-share project (profit split once the comic gains traction). I completely understand that’s not for everyone, but if you’re looking for a long-term collab, practice, or just want to be part of a passionate team, this could be a good fit.

I love working with everyone, even if the novel is finished, so I write actually write the scripts needed for the webcomic.
