Comic ideas are distracting me what do I do?

okay, I don't know if its just me or like this happens to everyone. Every time I try to study I have these amazing ideas rushing in my mind for my comics and I just want to draw the panels or just write my script, but sadly it's I have exams and postpone everything. do let me know if I'm not the only one, so maybe I'd feel a little better
or someone could just give me some tips for not procrastinating.

Even though I'm not in school anymore, when I'm working on my webcomics I get the urge to work on my other comics that I'm developing! Or I get the panicky need to draw something and I halt all work until I finish that illustration.

@joannekwan yeah that's the most annoying thing, and part of your brain is like umm no wtf r u doing? and part of it is like nooo I need to work on this illustration it's important!

Jot down quick notes! That way you won't worry about forgetting the idea and you can get it out of your head for the time being. I've heard of some writers even pulling off the side of the road when driving to write down a sudden story idea. D:

@Michelle Thanks, I'll try doing that, I used to have a planner but then I lost it ^__^ but like seriously? people do that? wow they'll cause some serious accidents =O

@awsumlife01 Admittedly I'm bad about writing down stuff, but I guarantee it does wonders to free up brain space when you don't have to worry about remembering a bunch of story ideas D: Just get a cheap little notebook and dedicate it to random story thoughts!

Oh YES it's painful. I have stress if I manage to do all the comics I want to in my lifetime :'D On the other hand, it makes me want to work more effectively on my current one so that I get it out of the way. Right now I'm in a happy place where I'm hyped of the future events of that said current comic so no worries.. FOR NOW.
