Comic Size for long scrolling comics?

Hello, there!

I want to start doing a webcomic aswell and I have some questions regarding the upload format.
I've tried a few things out but I've never ended up with the result I've wanted/expected.
I want to have long chapters with enough scrolling, like some series here actually has. But when I upload a demo page with the max. sizes tapas is giving me, It ends up really short but wide.
Can you help me and eventually provide me some sizes, which are actually working for long scrolling experiences?

Rather than uploading the whole episode at once, why not do it bit by bit? I'm not saying that you should only post one panel per episode, but cut your existing file into chunks, then upload it to the dashboard little by little.

Or, when resizing your image, make sure to scale it proportionally so that even though the size is smaller, the ratio of its width and height are still the same. Depending on what programme you use, the name of the setting may differ.

I have a vertical scroll comic, and each of my episodes contain multiple image files. Just upload multiple images and Tapas will stack them up vertically!

It does! Take a look at my comic and you'll see the images stack seamlessly. (Some panels are cut in half, but you can't see that!) Just make sure to resize each image proportionally, like @kirschwassen said.

I recently had the same questions and played around with some stuff.

I played around with different sizes for things such as fonts/sizes and image compression.
For my set up, which is thousands of pixels long (continuing from the above conversation: I split it up) and 2000 pixels wide, I found that about 3000 px in height fills up the height of my phone when compressed to the TAPAS file size requirements.

If you're using photoshop to split up the images there is a built in splice tool.
