I been watching this all month and like 1st of all Proud of Y'all for sticking to this and getting shiz done, even if it isn't as much as you want some days and even if you don't post every day, Y'all doing it and that's baller :purple_heart:

So I been in this creative bubble lately and haven't even been sharing what I have been up to, but I wanna so I will.

I'm doing a collab with a friend about a merman and his fashion photographer boyfriend having a communication breakdown after she went hard on a prompt I laid out in book club. I fell in love with these two she described to me and had to draw their story out and then I was like, might as well try my hand at scroll format, so that's what I been up to this month.

I have what they look like

The sketchy sketches

Hey @Lady_T_Musings great to see you here! :grinning:
Read your other thread and it's really awesome to see you being all out with new ideas! ^^

Today's update. Will try to do more tomorrow, hopefully will sketch a couple of strips. Oh, I need to think about the art for Sunday too!

TYTY-KEL! I Been enjoying your October trio comics too haha. I'm a sucker for pretty mages hhahaha :purple_heart:

@Kelheor Too bad it doesn't do as well as you like on social media. Maybe you could try a different platform or a video format? IDK.

@IndigoShirtProd Sending some positive energy your way, hope your weekend goes great and sketching uplifts your mood!

@Lady_T_Musings Very sweet of you! Yeah, I know what you mean about creative bubble, I get like that sometimes too.

@simonitropunk Okay, I love the person flipping in the bottom panel. Also, how all of these panels have a good sense of motion!

Glad to see more people joining and making progress on their works! :tada:

@Lady_T_Musings That collab looks exciting!

@simonitropunk Nice action scene! It looks very dynamic!

@gabriellabalagna A panel for the day is still progress! Taking time off to recharge is better; I learned that the hard way after I used to overexert myself a lot!

I meant to post this yesterday since time slipped by me! :sweat_02:

Yesterday, I rendered the background of the doors to the auditorium opening for a panel that’ll show a group leaving when the show’s over!

This is for one of the last panels for the episode! Putting in the group will be tricky so I put several modeled people figures by the door in another render of this background to provide a reference for the perspective and scale. I blended that render and one for another background.

Not all progress was forward today :pensive:

When I was finishing a group panel with the background that I showed the last time, I realized there are bloopers from an earlier episode! :weary:

The characters that’d be in this group shot in episode 30 were in episode 5. When I made episode 5, I updated the characters’ outfits a bit, but I just realized I forgot to make those updates to their outfits in episode 27! I went back to make the corrections to episode 27 so it'd be consistent.

Moving forward, I shaded two more panels for episode 30 and have only one left to go for it! I also expanded on the new parts of the script for episode 31 and sketched the first 2 new panels for it.

Day 16, folks! Just realized we're halfway through. Time flies when you're having fun.

Colored the flats for the left hand page. Right side still needs a lot of work.

Gonna try making a schedule for myself to figure out if I can still get this chapter done by the end of the month.

Day 17! Was cooking yesterday and did too much grating/chopping, now my hand is a little sore. So only inked one panel today.

Just playing it safe cause I've strained my hand in the past. I think it should feel back to normal tomorrow though.

Day 18! Inked and colored a few more things today.

Finally facing my "fear" of drawing two characters interacting/with overlapping body parts. It's so tricky, but I know it'll get easier the more I draw these types of poses.

I’ve been busy for a few days that I forgot to post my progress here, but I’ve been getting something done each day.

Yesterday I started adjusting the lineart on panels to give it varying widths, and finished that step today!

This is an example of that step:

I exported the files and will be ready to add the finishing touches! :hype_01:
