The hidden message is an interesting quote a good friend once shared with me, "Even broken glass can be used as a weapon."

Perhaps this means that even something broken can still be useful, or perhaps because it is broken it can become something deadly. Or maybe when put back together, broken glass can become a beautiful piece of art with all its flaws. Perhaps all three.

All fiction should have a message. If your story doesn't want to transmit something, then it just stuff you're telling.

I think whoever reads my novel will surely end up with their own interpretation of what I wanted to covey through it.
