Comics with big softies, where are you?

Uh, hi, I'm looking for more awesome comics to fill my reading list with during my vacation, and I thought it would be interesting to find comics containing a certain character type I like =)

So yeah, anyone here making a comic containing a big/burly guy (or girl) being a big softie (and not being ashamed of it)? They doesn't have to be the main character, but if they're making a steady re-appearance, that'd be awesome <3

In my comic SPEJS, Gav (to the left) is one of the four main characters and the team's pilot, and he's probably the biggest pacifist of 'em all, despite his appearace =)

he's a werewolf and can get mean when he needs to (and he has) but mostly he is nice and likes having a fun and chill time. find him at sweet talk (the first 2 chapters are digital)

might i also recommend howie, the protagonist of glamour, who is pretty much the pure embodiment of what you are seeking. that comic is on hiatus right now but theres a good chunk to read already and author says updates resume come autumn!

My comic, There Was a War, has a big softie main character, Balor! While technically, she's tiny, she's 7ft tall and bigger than a lot of the other main characters - and she's definitely a softie.

Yes hi, did someone say big softies? Because one of my readers just described Dateh as a "giant chocolate panda bear" which is so accurate it's kind of ridiculous. <3

Dateh is the biggest, tallest character in Grassblades, and does have enough skill with weapons to be dangerous - if he ever wanted to. Mostly he just wants to do the paperwork, make sure everyone has something to eat and drink, and write poetry when nobody's looking. He also worries like a champion, and is concerned about the existence of ghosts.

As for recs of other comics with big softies.... Boulder from Boulder and Fleet: Adventurers for Hire is a giant polar bear who is also the nicest, most helpful guy!

Aww I love big softies! I'm gonna check out all the comics listed here (that I haven't already, I've definitely already been keeping up with Grassblades!)

Brent is the bassist in Radio Silence - he's tall, muscular, quiet, smart, and very caring. I think it definitely helps that he grew up with five sisters, too!

No End is a zombie apocalypse comic but there's a lovable softie who also has a brave side...so enjoy
EDIT okay so not exactly a big softie but still a lovable softie, I think you'd enjoy the comic anyways

Hmm, the only comic I know of off the top of my head with a big softy is Huxley from 'Claws and Fire'. Which is a more cutesy looking bl fantasy comic, the style is more cartoony and the story isn't too a-typical despite the author advertising it as being very bl-like.

My character Apollo from 'Void'(warning: violence, blood, nudity) is a big pacifist, but he doesn't get particularly burly until later on. My comic is only 20 or so pages in so it may be too young? And it won't be the most classy. (It's also on a short hiatus)
Really, don't read it unless you run out of options.

Mihai is one, he's the main character in my comic Socializing101
He's a bit grumpy, looks intimidating and socialy awkward but once you get through all the awkwardness he's a softie and a nice guy
