I'm somewhat new to making webcomics, and don't have a lot of subscribers. I also am not confident in the current quality of my work... I know it could be improved, but don't quite know how to improve it. Therefore, I'm calling out tho the forum to look at my comic, and give me suggestions on how to improve it! Thank you so much to all who help, it is very much appreciated! smile

Gotta admit, there was a few chuckles given through your comic. Since you only have 5 episodes, I'll try and break it down.

Punny Times - Color is good, but the proportions of the first two panels are a bit off. The third however looks great, and provides an excellent pun. But (Butt) puns only get you so far, luckily you don't rub it in.

Jerry Sketch - It's just a sketch. There's no joke really involved, it's just a sketch. The end. It's a humorous sketch, but that isn't enough to make a comic episode.

Annoying questions - This one is by far the most creative. In one sense, the art is improving, but not there just yet. The colors however are a bit over-saturated. The speech bubs are colorful, the background are colorful, and your character is colorful. Maybe if you toned back a bit on the color and smooth out your lines, this would be a lot better...

What School Does - By far, this is what your strip should be focusing on. It has simple colours, a great expression, and your character moves like a real character. It works. If you worked on smoothing out your lines, and maybe went for one less panel, it would be like a good punch in the gut funny. Just a quick tip, if you go too far with a joke, it will become stale. That is unless that is what you are going for in a strip. Awkward, long, and tedious; some people can get away with it because that is what they're comic is about, the focus. This episode has the most potential, but you should think while making stuff of how long someone's attention can go before they lose interest. You can't be overly worded, (unless that's the point of the strip) and if you are making something long, you have to pull readers in with visuals.

A Quest for you - this in some sense is a bit too early. A Q&A only works if you have established characters and lots of character development. We really only have three episodes to get to know you, and that isn't enough if you are just starting here on Tapastic. You want to establish yourself a bit before you ask for questions. Unless your comic is only about answering questions and being silly to answer them, there really is no point of doing a question prompt this early.
(Heck, I waited until my 99th episode, and it still felt too early)

In conclusion, you need a bit of polishing, but you have some potential. You've just got to put some focus on what your comic will be addressing. But you're in luck, you've just started. You have plenty of time to experiment with different styles, different types of jokes, and getting better with art in general. Just keep pushing forward. The only way to go is up.
