Hey LCT! I'm always up for art criticism (giving/receiving) but it's hard to do when I'm confused a little what the goals are. You mentioned your comic art but posted sketches here.
This isn't super specific and I'm not really asking you to answer here if you don't feel like it but the analyst in me is immediately wondering what signals you're measuring and what outcomes you are trying to influence.
Are you looking for more subscribers/engagement with your comic?
Are you looking for more engagement here on the forum for sketches? I ask that because you post here more frequently so you probably have a better grasp - it's kind of impossible to get a useful feedback signal for a comic that you aren't updating a lot.
If sketches is what you're trying to change, what is the purpose for you of your sketches - like what combination of prep work for comic, personal enjoyment, art development, engaging with us other forum folks here, driving traffic to your comic, etc are you hoping to achieve with those? I think the answer to that determines what you should/shouldn't bother to change.
Like if your focus is playing with forms and/or prepping for comic where it isn't a finished piece then it doesn't really matter that it takes some work from a viewer to read your sketch. In that case you should be potentially looking for critique on your finished comic art instead?
If your focus is engagement with sketches, then a sketch that's easier to read and asks less from the viewer would be helpful. It also strikes me that because you play a lot with variations on the same subject (something I personally find fascinating btw - I love watching technical exploration) it can be harder for people to comment because they're afraid to say the same things over and over and you've also got the issue that the subject just won't resonate with everyone, no matter how you draw it.
Anyway, would be delighted to give feedback on comic art or sketches - I spend a lot of time thinking about how to make my own comic art broadly "palatable" as I can for audiences on WT/Tapas within the confines of my own taste. But I can be more likely to say something useful knowing which art and for which audience/purpose.
