Be it a novel, short story, television show or comic, suggest a story, but don't JUST suggest a story, explain why you think it's a worthwhile read.
I suggest 1: "A Tale Of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens
Reason: If you are an author, this is a good point of reference for learning to write exposition (especially character and setting descriptions) in a captivating way that makes you WANT to read about what things look like. It's also a great example of fictional stories in which the plot is intricately woven together so that basically every character mentioned has some effect on the plot, even when you least expect it.
I suggest 2: "Damsel in the Red Dress" by Leyelle (me lol)
Reason: if you're an author or a casual reader, this is a good point of reference for how to write emotions, and capture feelings (especially depression, anxiety/panic attacks, xyz) through prose. It can be difficult to express emotions to the extent that they make other people feel those emotions, so if you're looking to cry, or to have a point of reference for how you can right to make people feel anxious, sad, or connected emotionally to a character in anyway, then this is a good example of those things that you can pick to pieces if you like.
