A bit more than a year I'd say? So quite a long time
Hoping to reach 250 before the summer at least

I started drawing comics on here but have decided to start a new novel series. I wrote about 2k words in a day and have been editing those words. It's weird to start writing. I don't think I've done any creative writing since high school! :scream:
But it's been exciting so far (even though it isn't published yet :fearful:)
Hopefully it does alright!

Oh good luck! What is your story going to be about? It seems like a daunting task, so I hope you'll have fun!

Damn. Hang in there! I'm already subscribed to you. Here's wishing for many more!

Haha thanks! And no worries, I write primarily for myself, so it's honestly just a bonus that people read my story and are excited about it.

Yeah but I'm here for the bonus. Its all about the little things.

Makes me really happy that the tapas team appreciates my hard work
Guess I'll have to do that 250 subs qna sooner than expected...

Lol yeah! Now it means you gotta get it ready. More work! But in the best possible way.

Grats!

Sorry, I have been a bit busy.

Lol, just logged on Tapas to get hit with GoodNovel scam... :scream:

Haha same... I've had to remove at least two spam comments already from my page this week

I couldn't get this idea outta my head, but generally its about an app that lets you trade body parts.
I wanted to write a tiered story (?) about how the app might affect society.
Like: tier 1: social consequences when the app first comes out -people whispering about each other
Tier 2: practical uses and the most common app uses
Tier 3: criminal organizations abusing the app

im about 8 something months late but I would say keep it together. For me, my chapters range from 2-3k words so I would say keep it together and just split the scene up with a dash if you want to. I always try to keep my chapters together as much as possible with leaving on a cliff hanger evil laughter

Aaand... ta-da!!! Had to borrow a bit of time after lunch, but I just HAD to finish it.

At 71.2K the first draft of Raised by the Mafia is FINISHED!!! Just need to catch up on editing-posting, but, eh... I can do it.

So, I'll officialy kick off the editing season for this year's Watty tomorrow! The books to edit are Lone Werewolf, Trapped by the Mafia, Raised by the Mafia and How to Marry Your Dragon... OOOF. HUGE editing load. Why am I so prolific? Dunno.

Also, fun stuff ahead. Lining up the post-Watty projects... Like, obviously, I will rewrite that too-long-for-novella into a Regency novel, but I have to chose from 3 other projects what to work on next.

Aww, I am so happy rn. Ending a book is such a party!

So happy for you! I've yet to experience the joy of finishing a novel haha and it will definitely be a while before the first volume of Fair, No Fair is finally complete haha. (I did finish a story as a kid tho, but it doesn't count.)

Good luck with your editing!
