I finally got the break up scene I wanted written and more background on my MC
I've set a goal for 14,000 words tomorrow. It's a full 100% free day off and I want to finally get to 80,000 words again!My previous record for most words in a day was 12,500, so I should be able to do it if I just sit down and focus. I think I'm going to skip tomorrows upload as well so I can really focus on hitting this word count!
Good luck on your goal. I've only been able to do about 1,500 words in a day before I go stir crazy
That's really impressive, don't burn yourself out. I can write a lot like that, but then I end up taking forever to edit it to my liking, and doing the editing all in one go is painful for me when I wanna continue the story.

I'm only setting it so high since I have the day off and can commit to both high word count and good quality! I already know where the plot is going so I don't have to worry about figuring out what to write which will make it a lot easier
It was actually on the original draft of this story that Imanaged it! Before that my max in one day was 8000
Usually I stick to 1-3k!

I was on the road most of the day yesterday + had DnD when I got home so I have to get all my updates ready (for both Wattpad and Tapas) ready today. No pressure.

Been doing 1.5k everyday for a month till I reach 50k which takes a little above a month if I do it all perfectly. In total right now I've written around 38k with a break due to family visits. So far I'm loving the story so much.
1.5K is an excellent daily total. Yup, it amounts to a protonovel in like 6 weeks, and it is more doable than 1.7K. I always want to get there, but 1K is more comfortable for me.
Woah y'all's schedules seem difficult! I could never write that much! I'm prescheduling some episodes right now
1k is certainly a healthy writing pace to have. There are days where I accidentally go slightly above 1.5k but that's only if the story is doing really well and I'm enjoying it a lot. But usually, it's even hard to get to 1.5k. Oh and I go at 50k mainly because I write light novel type stories where its just something to quickly sit down and enjoy. (It's a Japanese origin format btw)
I am 5000 away from my goal. A couple 'responsible adult' errands took away a little bit of my writing time, but I'm still trying to get there!!
The total is 10.6K so 1K today
Guys, this is a really low bar here, but yesterday I actually opened my word document. If I can write even 500 words today, I will have achieved my goal.

I aim to write around 400 words a day and edit any work that has been done previously. Generally wrote 200 in the morning and an additional 200 in the evening and if I manage to do more then thats a bonus for me!
