He's a Junglefowl, hails from ancient India. He's a pretty mother-clucker, and he KNOWS it:





His design kinda reminds me of a Native American chief, though to be more accurate, Mayan or Aztec. Fits with his dominating attitude:

I have two favs right now. I aint just pickin one. Declan and Jethro. Both are from my second comic, 180 Bruises.

I love everything about Declan's design including his hair, goggles, big tail, etc.

Jethro has that sort of comfy, chill dude, design (so does Allen) but also again with the hair which I came up with while choosing his species of bird, which is a snowy egret. Plus I really like characters who's hair covers their eyes.

I am also proud of how the other MC Astra turned out as she balances Psychoborg out with her brightness and grace.

I'm happy with the designs of my three main girls

I wanted to avoid the characters all looking the same with different hair. I wanted everything to be unique. Their height, body type/silhouette, clothing style, eye shape, etc. I wanted each one to look like they could be from their own series, because they're each the main character of their own story.

She doesn’t have a name or backstory sorry. It’s just a character design i came up with one day and it’s one of my faves.

I’m a bit jealous of people who can conjure up all sort of stories for their OCs, people for whom storytelling is such a natural process. It isn’t for me.

For a long time I sort of just focused on getting better at art, drawing every day, but never really thinking about my characters in depth. They were more of a stepping stone to getting better art art, sort of like doing pushups. I really regret not taking the time to really explore this part of my imagination. Whenever people ask me “that’s a cool design, what’s the backstory?” I just shrug cause I dunno.
