Deleted and somewhere else.
This guy is definitely one of my favorites. He was originally just for worldbuilding and not even supposed to have lines. But after I finally gave him a design, I loved it so much that it spiraled into giving him a backstory and personality. I will do everything in my power to make it so he meets the main cast of the series he's in.
OOOH! My two mains are actually my favorites! I feel super happy with their designs in terms of silhouette, ease to draw, and everything.
Most likely Karina desing
Kind of a boring answer because she's the protagonist, but... yeah, it's Rekki Lune.
I also like her more down-to-earth look in the current arc of the comic:
She's fun to draw, easy to recognise fanart and cameos of when other people draw her, and it's a simple design that communicates everything I want to about this ladette with low self esteem who really wants to be a shounen manga protagonist.
These two right now:
Have a bunch of faves but always enjoy this guy, as he inspired the tone for my current comic (he doesn't show up in season 1, only in background props). While most of the characters' powers are inspired by states of matter, he instead uses gravity and anti-gravity. His fighting style is Capoeira and under all that bodypaint, he is assumed to be Issandro: champion of Impact Circle Fighting tournament. As a character he's a threat to both heroes and antagonist.

"just like all the other 'Sick Boys' in the series, anyone who comes into physical contact with him will convulse and instantly mutate into feral monsters"
I think Kyara's future design is one of my favorite designs.
Theres lots of contenders, Im happy with pretty much all my designs. For now Ill put in the most recent character design Ive done for a challenge Im doing, I might like her because I assosiate her with "Nope" the movie I was watching at the time (god I love that movie, aliens? Cowboys? Viscera? Yes please)She's got an interesting style, a memorable face and demeanor. From my main cast I think Alya or Rahat are pretty good. I think I'm pretty good at giving a character a vibe and style, but I could stand to have more intense variation and distinctiveness (maybe revert to middle school and make them half wolf half angels).
Okay the actual answer is one of my MC's looks in a later chapter
But currently I think I have to pick the young ver of my MC's uncle
He's based on a bamboo orchid! What I like is that his face is almost identical to the MC but his personality is not, so I get to draw expressions on him that my MC would never make. Like this smirk lol His gold powers also go well with his purple everything
@bulgariansumo Yesss I love when a bg chara is too good to ignore!
Mine would be Evander. He's shy, vulnerable, and incredibly attractive but doesn't realize it. He's a shapeshifter (as all of my characters in Finding Daecon's Way are) and I equally enjoy him in his cheetah and osprey forms as well. My shapeshifters can each change into one bird form and one mammal form besides human. They often display colourings that are not natural on their wild counterparts, and Evander is no exception: His osprey form is much lighter and more red than a natural osprey, and his cheetah is darker and more red than a wild cheetah but with brown spots instead of black, plus he's got curly hair which wild cheetahs don't:
An unexpected runner-up would be this guy, Jake. He was never intended to be anything more than a one-off but I like his character design so much that I've written him in as a major character. He's a bit of a dickhead, but I like him. His hair and nail colourings are all natural - his bird form is a blue jay. I haven't decided yet on what his mammal alternate form will be. If he even gets one. Edit I have decided that Jake will get a mammal form after all. He will be a blue fox.
All of the characters in Elsie. Especially Ernest.
The peak example of character design! Eeeeee!

For now, it has to be Casimiro (Alias: the Pirate). His design reflects his character really well if I say so myself. I like his slight skull motif too. Also, I think is hard to notice, but his sleeves are long so he made some holes on them so he could pass through his thumbs, so they're kinda like an hybrid between sleeve and fingerless gloves (It's easier to see in the second image).
Nice, I love the design where he has a rose in his hat!
Perfect art, is this traditional?
I'm gonna say Zyphy is still one of my favorite characters designs. I think the tendrils coming out of her back are visually interesting, and also she has a cool head shape.
I have a lot of favourites, but the ones I love most from my most worked on manga Grand SeVen , are Hail and his sister Rain.
When I first sketched her, Kandi Hart, she was just a one off, but then she became the backbone of a whole series of characters. Arguably, I could've edited her to be more in line with the candy she ended up being based on, candy hearts, but I prefer the general allusion to candy with the bright, neopolitan colors, chocolate bar barrette, and heart earrings. Honestly, I think she's a good representation of the story she's a part and that makes her a meaningful character design for me.
