Here is something my morning training and I´ll explain the steps that I took:
Hands (I always double check and correct every step until it matches)
1 Cylinder for the lower arm
2 squishy ball thing + thumb and the opposite side of the hand where the
pinky finger attaches
3 I draw the fingers as one big shape as if the hand would be inside a glove
(the gloves without seperated fingers)
4 opacity down, draw the fingers and rest of the arm/hand, always double check
with the reference until I´m happy
Head:
I don´t always do the same order but some like this:
1 Circle
2 Side circle
3. Locating the features (hairline eyebrowline, nose, mouth, chin)
4 Shape of the face
5 Ear and neck
6 Eye and arch for the eyes
7 Nose
8 Eye circles
9 Mouth area
10 Opacity down, draw the facial features and the planes of the
head as 3d thingys
Poses:
I have a lot of different methods that I combine,
I drew this one this morning with a mix of different methods.
First step analyzing and tracing the pose because I first didn´t understand
the pose and I wasn´t sure where the pelvis is and how it bends (I´m still not sure)
Then I drew negative space around the figure, traced the gesture, thought about how
to start and then:
1 the hand and arm
2 the collar bone drawing the connection to the crotch using the Riley method
3 hips to neck Riley method
4 ribcage
5 pelvis
6 legs and feet
7 neck and head
8 opacity down and drawing the breasts, muscles, details, that took me
a while and I corrected it a lot. It was a tough pose to draw
