Mine is a ultimately a romantic tale of a woman who has everything except a man.

The classic story of a single woman who had spent almost her entire life climbing up the power ladder that she just has not had time to really look for what is important.

Love.

That is until a charming young man piques her interests. He is beautiful, kind, and a wonderful cook. Just the perfect man.

However, misunderstandings, miscommunication, secrets and the usual threaten their blossoming romance! Will they get together?

Sounds like a chick flick right?

Except that our heroine is a the head of a mafia and is a bloodthirsty villain who climbed to the top of the criminal underground on the countless bodies of her rivals. Her love interest is the partner of a super hero who is our heroine's arch nemesis.

I'd say mine is ultimately a tale of grief, moving on from the past, and isolation. I wanted the story to start with a dark sense of humor and layer the tension the further down the road she goes. Kinda in the same sense in Apocalypse Now. The further up the river they went the bleaker, more dire their situation became.

I have been wanting to work on the story I am now writing for maybe 8 years, I've had four of what i would technically call a rewrite despite only writing the first few pages of the initial story. i just spent a few years reading, and watching how-tos on writing, considering why i like the novels i read and so on before i finally pushed to start my writing here.

Here come see what happens when someone unbound by fate meets a being that wants to see what happens to the rest of fate if he pushes that unconstrained existence into the weave of reality for its own amusement. I start slow at first but any work that aims to be great has to build.

Riley Thornton is an 18-year-old student who's just moved from Oklahoma to Ohio to start college. When she stumbles into a river she sees another world appear. She soon discovers that this is because she has Native American blood. Whenever she lifts this Veil, she has an animal spirit, warrior powers, and can identify others like her on sight. Riley and her family get caught up in a war between several clans, some of whom want to use her and her powers to help them find an ancient treasure that is rumored to bring about the apocalypse. When she refuses to help, they come after the people around her. In the end, she's forced to choose sides and fight for those she loves.

The story is being told by both Riley, the heroine, and the Ridge team, who are some of the antagonists.

I'll try to keep this short (since if I get going, it'll be hard to stop me).

We meet and follow four men in their early twenties who move into the same apartment without having met each other before. There must be magic or destiny involved because they quickly become like family to each other. Romance will bloom, secrets will be revealed, and they will have to stick together as some pretty crazy things start happening in their lives.
Drama, Magic, Romance, these four are in for some surprises.

Oh man, let's see how I can describe this without using the what I have in the little description box of the actual novel haha.

Kleo's new the magic and the world that comes with it. He's never been a fan of change, especially since he lost his mother, and this is the biggest change of all. He's got a lot to learn about magic, his family. and especially himself. On top of that, he's juggling college and figuring out how to tell his best friend about everything that's going on. Oh, and apparently his cat can talk to him too, so that's great.

Adventures in Magic has fantasy, drama, and a bit of romance sprinkled in there too. Join Kleo as he figures out how to adjust to his new life and the people that come with it.
