Hey guys this is my story

I'm hoping to be my own manga artist one day so I just need a sidekick to help me reach my goal
I want to post in webtoons and tapas and one day have my own anime.

I'm writing and practising drawing at the moment and the art style I really want to have is Megumi Mizusawa, tokyo underground and the law of ueki.

Currently I have a friend who has experience publishing a book so me and him are having meetings. Other than that me and my friend are hoping to make a website but right now he is feeling depress so we need to make as much content as possible when he can go back working for this. Right now I hope you guys can understand my struggle and determination to become a manga artist and make of money from this as a hobby as I desperately want to. If we get to talk I will share you my scripts file and we will go over it.

Hey, just read through the synopsis you linked; it looks like you've put a good amount of work into building the world, but you'll improve your chances of finding an artist if you include examples of your writing itself. I understand the desire to not want to publicly post scripts from an ongoing project, but past pieces usually showcase your style just as well.

Just a suggestion, but you might also want to clarify whether this is a paid or unpaid project. A sidekick/assistant will generally expect to be compensated for the time and effort they put into another person's creative vision; a collaborator will prefer to have equal input into the ideas of the project instead.

I use my procrastination time doing this instead of doing my commission so please don't judge me too much. ;v; So I figure I should just make a guide about ‘How To Make A Good Collaboration And Partnership Offer’ Thread. Possibly because there's no pay/no script in it yet. Artists, especially good ones, tend to be a bit gun shy of spec work.

I'd try writing some 8 page stuff and seeing if you can get an artist to do that little one rather than the sweeping epic.

That'll build up both a network and good reputation among the community. A collabbing partner might be a better choice if it's a big project; they'll want input but they'll be on your team; all the best for finding your artist!

They either make a better pitch or accepts they aren't getting an assistant. It's a luxury, not a necessity, and no one owes them their free time.

You do it yourself. Study the things you want to be good at, and improve your abilities. You don't need to pay anyone else, but you also shouldn't expect free labor for person projects. There's a wonderful number of artists here willing to give feedback, advice, and general assistance to each other, all for free, but most of them have their own projects and can't just cater to the whims of random strangers asking for free art.

There are people willing to collaborate here, but it's going to take the right person, pitch, and project to make that happen.
