Do any of you still use Deviantart and is it still worth it to post on there?

I've been avoiding Deviantart for a while now due to it being ridden with horrible AI and f3tish art, but I know at one point that it was the top art platform to get a following at the time. Do any of you still post there, and do you still get any traction there? Or should I just avoid it at all costs?

I'm on there, I mirror my comic there, too. I don't have as many followers there but the ones I do have are more likely to comment.

It IS choked with those two things these days. The best way to get a following there is to do fanart, just like the rest of the internet. Original SFW work is a bit uphill, I wouldn't make it your main mirror these days.

I'd say avoid it because I went back there a month ago and it was horrible (got little to no recognition).
I definitely say that it wasn't worth it and it was like going back to a graveyard filled with sad desperate degenerate souls.
And the AI art is also just overwhelmingly spreading, even when I tried searching for any fandom I liked, it was either sick fetish art or AI.
Not worth it.

I will still cross post on there. I still get favs/likes on my fanart.

However, I feel like the site is full of socially awkward teenagers. And I feel some of the behavior, weird art, and comments from users reflect that. I do not reply to comments on there and I sometimes have to delete some of them.

I’m kinda on there- I personally haven’t seen a lot of bad stuff, but it definitely feels a bit dead. Comments are pretty rare.

Now I mainly use it to find reference photos for figure drawing.

I still post there but its all still crazy watermarked with my logo and transparent text all over.
Think my account is almost 20 years. I dont have many followers or views either. Some stuff is super old style from decades ago.
