Do any of you use Redbubble to sell merch?

Doing research for something, but I'm curious as to what everyone's experience selling merch is. I know redbubble is one of the bigger sites, but if you all have recommendations that are different, let me know! Would love to know the benefits and drawbacks from people who've actually done the thing lol

I've sold some stuff on RedBubble, I don't create much content to be honest, original stuff doesn't sell much, but fanarts do.
However you'll need to check out what are the available brands and corporations that are associated with RB so you don't have your content taken down.

Like, some weeks ago the BNHA stickers I've made were taken down, they were originally allowed for almost 6 years and BNHA was part of the bundle of Netflix's agreement.

I have never bought anything, due to some limitations on my own country, so I won't know what the quality of the product is like, or how well the designs look once printed. But I even had some people commissioning me specific designs, just so they could buy it through RedBubble later. Its a shame I never got the chance to ask these clients for pictures, besides back then I was a bit shy to do so.

Gotcha, that's good to know, thank you! And I assume it functions like patreon where the company just takes a percentage of your profits and the rest goes back to you?

I have a red bubble but i don't get much engagement over there. I just recently updated it with 20 new designs so i'll let you know how that does

I have found however that I'm more likely to sell stickers and prints in person at events than online
Another thing i'm going to try and do is raffle off some of my leftover stickers from events

Yes, the difference is that you are the one with a small royalty from the sales, due to obvious reasons, RedBubble takes care of the pyshical products and shipping.
While I don't particulary get many sales nor post new content often, I consider its nice to have that extra cash at the end of the year, usually around $30-$40 even if its very passive.

The quality is pretty bad ngl. I gave RB a couple of tries but every time the quality was less than satisfactory so I don't use them anymore.

Stickers were extremely grainy, and the shirt prints were muddy and they lose color every time I wash them.

Can confirm, my awesome Hanabie and David Attenborough tees have started to go dim only after a couple of weeks.

Hm, I see. Is there an alternative you've found other than printing the stickers/shirts yourself?
