Do tapastic support doujinshi of popluar anime's?

I'm lookin forward to make  some doujinshi of  te few popular anime's.  Are tis type of work's supported here &  not violating any laws of the site.

I would say no, as the characters you are making money off of are not your own, and Tapastic should probably be a place for original ideas-- not to mention that there's entire legal hurdles they would have to go through because not only would you get into trouble for making money off of anothers' work, Tapastic can get into trouble for hosting it and allowing it.

labelling something a "Doujinshi" is not equal to getting legal consent from the creators to make money off of their work.

I would leave it unsupported and work on getting an original comic supported, using Doujinshi's as a means to catch certain demographics' eye but that's all.

You can totally post it! When you asked the question, you mentioned "Support it"

On this website, you can "support" a comic by giving the creator money directly, but you have to have 600+ readers and it can't be a copyright material.

You can totally post it however! You're not making money from it by just posting it. Or you can post it onto Deviantart and make a series here where you update with a link to your DA every time the comic updates, to keep the content off of Tapastic is you'd like

Yup, you can post it! I started posting my doujinshi last month and I asked staff if it was all right before doing so. But as the person above me said, I would refrain from making any kind of tangible profit from doujinshi, just to be on the safe side (though there are tons of people who sell their doujinshi at cons, online, etc). I agree that doujinshi should be a means of garnering attention and making a name as well as a great opportunity to hone your style and writing more so than making a profit (it IS someone else's work!). You should link it here when you post it

Yeah, that's the only real depressing thing about doing Time Gate - unless I make it purely original (which is an idea that's still on the table), it's originally a Zelda fanfiction so no profit from that lol.

We actually deter creators from doing this as it violates our content policy guidelines.

We do allow fan fictions and doujinshi to be posted on the site but we can't pay creators through the ad revenue program or the support program for content that specifically deals with copyrighted content.
