I update my cover whenever I feel like a made a good jump in my skills! It's best not to overdo because it'll confuse viewers who are on the fence and take time away from pages, but it's always good to give your biggest first impression a second look.
Old. OOOOLLLD! This was one of the first things I drew for the comic and boy it shows, I didn't even have a good grasp of the designs.
Attempt 2! Looks great even now, but this was right before I started using the app and noticed 90% of this is unreadable at that size. Very short lived as the main cover, but it's still the first episode as a "landing page".
Current cover! Much better planning, and even had some tweaks along the way to make the cracks less overwhelming.
But, there's a lot to change - I got feedback on the forum to make the logo bigger, I feel like Veriesin doesn't get enough real estate for a main character, and hiding Elise's face was interesting as a concept but just looks weird to a newcomer. So once I think I've made another leap, I already know what to do to improve!
