Drawing my comic to a playlist I made for it right now. I also tend to give my characters specific theme songs.

Yes, absolutely! I love having playlists for my characters. And whenever I hear a new song, I'm always thinking in the back of my mind if it would be a good fit for a character/story. All my character playlists are here! (although I'd like to find a better way to share them, since listening on 8tracks is pretty limited now...)

At first I thought the concept was kinda silly, but after a while I warmed up to it. Think I might do it once I start building my website- as something that readers can listen to while reading/looking at stuff.

I just started compiling playlists for my series on spotify. It's easier with the really atmospheric stories I must say though. I listen to them for inspiration when writing.

Yeah I do the same. They're great because I have multiple comics, and I need to be in a certain mood to work on each of them (like one's a horror and another is a sci-fi for example, I'd pick eerie instrumentals or electronic music for the respective genre), so I just put the playlist on and draw.

I don't have playlists for certain characters or a certain story, but I do organize them by mood. So if I need a certian mood I just put that on repeat XD

I give my playlists fun names too XD Like:
Violent Water
Swallow the darkness

and so on XD

Not for the novel itself, but I'll often listen to music while I'm writing.

ohhh yeah i totally do this. i have a few available publicly, but mostly theyre private playlists i play on shuffle while drawing and writing. i have ones for relationship, for the general story, for particular arcs, for characters... i love making playlists

I can't say I make Playlists for the stories themselves but there are alot of songs that I can say "hey this song really describes (insert character) like super well" or like "this is so (insert character)'s song!!!" sometimes I will listen to a song that I feel describes on of the characters really well and write about it. i never really put that in the comic but it's fun for brainstorming, and i might have a song in my head while writing a certain episode.

I actually go one step beyond and have been composing an album for one of my comics. It's really fun to to try to set a mood for an art piece through trying to find which songs that I made suit the comic the best.

I don't make playlists or choose songs that I can identify my story with (though sometimes they do) but, I usually end up creating AUs or extra stories based on the songs, and sometimes I end up creating characters or stories based on the songs.

i don't have particular playlists for specific things, i just made a long playlist of some of my favorite songs and occasionally it matches up , helps make it more enjoyable to work on it

What I listen to when i'm working on my comic is way different than when I work on my novel.

Cole - I listen to the scores from the movies Edward Scissorhands, Twister and Nightmare on Elm Stree (the remake).

Megami Shiizun - I listen to general instrumental when I'm on drawing mode, but if I'm writing any of it. I have the album of Legends by Two Steps from Hell and the scores of animated features.

I don't listen to anything with words when i'm writing, it's too distracting.
