Do you remember the anime Zatch Bell?

In your opinion is it a good anime?

I like the mangas and also the anime. One of the series that'd made me cry. The author mangaka is really good at stirring emotions through panels & big cries. I'm a fan. 9/10 on manga (I didn't watched much of the anime but early episodes I watched are nice. 8/10)

Now that I've seen some of its anime reviews, I'll say the anime don't quite do the manga justice. Zatch Bell manga art is way better. 7/10 to its anime.

I loved the anime as a teenager. Looking back, it definitely was an odd series.

The US version censored a lot of it, like Zatch flying through the MC window nude. And the blonde pop singer sings a song about boobs which got changed to a song about dancing. Or Zatch being a demon but in the US version he’s some magical creature called a Mamodo. Or that girl who was in love with her demon.

I think I might rate it a bit high because of nostalgia. I give it, 7/10.
Plus Brago is cute.

Absolutely! I used to watch it as a kid and I remember enjoying it quite a bit.

I rediscovered it thanks to a friend of mine who was looking for this anime but had completely forgotten its name. I, on the other hand, had forgotten about its existence as a whole and when I helped him find it I had a rush of nostalgia.

I love the anime, it's the perfect mix of comedy and actions. When the main characters get serious you know it's gonna be good action scenes.

Anyway, it's definitely a nostalgic show. There were certain scenes I didn't enjoy and wished there was some more chemistry between some other characters but it might just be the kid me saying this. Other than that it's a 8/10.
