Do you take breaks during the summer holidays?

I was planning the publishing schedule of chapter 3 and it's going to finish at the end of august. Here in my country that's the month most people go to holidays because factories and other works close down untill September. I was curious to know if people during holidays are around the platform or they will be on summer breaks, to better schedule my agenda.

Do you take a break during summer or keep publishing at the same time?

That is completely up to you. I don't. But if you are going to take a break, let your readers know. Tell them when you will be back so they can look forward to it.

My buffer currently has me into August. I am not planning on taking a break, but I do have a buttload of stuff to do this summer including building a 24X16 addition onto my home, and I do all my work myself so this is going to take some time. I've actually been building my buffer so far out just because of this.

It's funny, I usually am busiest during winter, summer is typically my break time and I focus mostly on commissions during that time. I feel like colder weather times are best for making books because it gives me that nice feeling of reading in doors wrapped in a cozy blanket.

There is no summer here.

From my own experience, people tend to be busier during holidays, they have their own agendas they can't do in working days. They are also probably on vacation, out of the city, or abroad, so the internet time is more limited.

That's why I was thinking to go on a month hiatus during August: people on holidays probably won't have time to read or the connection to do so and won't read the new updates untill they're back.
