Do you think it's possible to have a traditional format comic featured on Webtoons?

(How do I say this while not sounding like I'm salty about being featured, cos' I'm not) but yeah I have never seen a traditional-page webtoon in the recommended section, let alone be featured. Yet again I don't browse Webtoon that much so idk. At any rate I'm thinking of posting to other sites like Tapas, GlobalComix (and Pixiv/Medibang maybe?)

It can happen - I've definitely seen traditional-formatted comics in the recommended, but it's rare. Even rare-r is traditional-formatted comics in b&w - it's just so hard to read on mobile. It's possible, but you're not making it any easier on yourself or increasing your chances. If you do, you likely need to have a professional level amount of polish and if you do get asked to be featured, they'll ask you to do vertical scroll + color. (See the author of Raven Saga's first work.)

Featured as Original - absolutely not. Recommended on front page - yes, they definitely prefer scroll, but there were traditional form ones too.

Globalcomix I'd say it's definitely possible, as the majority of comics on there are traditionally formatted.

It depends on what you mean by 'featured'. Are you hoping to become one of their paid WEBTOON Original series? If so, then no; the majority of the WEBTOON audience is on mobile, and the editors are quite firm about vertical being the format of the site.

If you mean 'featured' in the sense of getting on one of their 'recommended' lists for a few days, you have a slightly better chance, but there's still an overwhelming preference for vertical comics.

I did have my comic featured on Tapas for a week while it was still in page format, so it seems more possible here!

You can just upload it there, but for some reason the trend is totally towards those long scrolling comics right now.
