not maybe an anime, but animated for sure, I'm hoping I got the time to make a little animated trailer for my comic one day, sketching out a storyboard when I got some time over (which is not much sadly)

Right??

You just gotta get out there people! Don’t think that everything happens on the internet. Make connections with real people. Make your dreams come true!

I would love to see an animated movie for my comic.

I mean, even if its not realistic at all but Im free to dream, right? I would only be afraid of bad adaptations or that a studio I dont like pitch it or that they take an unfinished story and change stuff.
But first of all, I must work and finish my stuff
so Im winking at you Studio Pierrot, or Mappa or IG

I am in the process of turning my novel into a comic and honestly, if I were to be approached by one of those companies to turn it into an anime I would most likely say "yes". I've always loved the idea of my story becoming an animation (I don't have the skills for it at this time) and if it were to get big enough to catch the attention of these companies, that would be like the "hey look ma I made it" feeling.

I know it could potentially be drug through the mud, so if that ever happens I will be sure that my contract or whatever states something along the lines of "the story/characters cannot be changed and the original creator has final say on any changes...etc" and have a good lawyer to make sure things run smoothly. I wouldn't sign anything unless my lawyer has read through the contracts, explains everything to me, and is sure I won't be getting scammed or lose the rights to my story.

that's my main goal, though if i was approached i would want control of what they do , namely no changing things without my authority , i know some companies have been around and have made many different anime's and I would be open to suggestions ,but since i have watched a lot of animes i do understand what worked and what did not ( for example the star wars sequel trilogy) and i very much want to be involved in the process

not an anime no, I'd never want to work with Netflix or Crunchyroll.
but a movie or tv show perhaps If I can find the right studio, that sounds amazing.

That would be my lifelong acomplishment if it ever happened.

I had a dream that my comic was made into an anime but it was done withouy my knowledge or permission.
To make things worse, it got mediocre reviews and people were accusing me of plagarising the anime as no one believed that I was the original creator.

After that dream, I'm not sure I'd like my comic turned into an anime (although I'd say it's a safe bet that won't happen).

After I'm done saving up to get my teeth fixed which I'm pretty close to accomplishing I have plans to eventually get my comic an animated adaptation. I've been keeping an eye on dartshtajio and I hope to commission them in the future but for now, I have to focus on my health and building my audience.

Hmmm, I'm not sure if I want to turn RotH into an anime since it has loose ends and sloppy writing at the start. I'd want to redo those pages before I consider it to be adapted. Also I don't think any of my work would be adapted, but it would be nice and interesting see a adaptation of Square One. Mainly because the setting of the comic is not something you see a lot in mainstream anime.

4 months later

Honestly, I wouldn't mind if my comic became an anime. In fact, i'd be honored despite the extra workload.

It would be a dream come true! I'd like to be part of the team tho, I wouldn't like my series to be normativized (I mean, like in an hetero boring way) or having the plot changed to make it shorter or something.

So I currently have a meeting next monday with a production team in Vancouver and I am so paralyzed with fear that I am seriously thinking of not going. This is the reality of it. For them to take control of my work from my hands scares me.

They can't do that unless you let them but you have to understand whenever you present something, or you land a deal, that work you prize is no longer yours. It's why they pay you for it. You're going to have to let go at least a little bit. If it really bothers you that much, you can take a legal consultant with you.

Uhhh hmm an anime? I mean, I guess, but honestly I feel like an animated series based in the US would be more realistic cuz I live in the US

I understand they could change things, but honestly as long as I got the comic finished by then then at least my version of the story is out there somehow.
