Not really; since it still runs on a game engine and you have to download the files there's really no way to make it compatible with Tapas, though I'm playing around with formatting for a "lite" version that reads more like a comic that I could post here (it'd just be missing all the sound and animation elements). If you go to the chapters page on the website there are links to video playthroughs of the first two chapters, though.

I mostly hang out on Tapas for my novel these days haha.

For the comics I have up right now? Not sure, never really thought about it.

Actually, you're doing what we do when we write these. We visualize them as already animated movies and try to "storyboard" it, kind of. It helps us a lot.

Well, it was a comic for over a decade before I scrapped it and started over, and it never got particularly popular, though I admit I never posted more than the first few chapters to Tapas/Webtoon haha. The archive lives on ComicFury now since SmackJeeves nuked the old website. Maybe one of these days I'll upload the rest of it here just for marketing purposes

LOL! Well, provided you got a lot for it. Anime can be a really greedy game, and the creator sometimes gets left behind. =P In fact, wonder what some of these series actually make, now that you mention it.

more in the "this should be live action rather than a cartoon" sort of way. That and it takes place all over the East Coast. It just wouldn't make any sense at all as an anime. I could see it as a CW superhero type of show instead.

It's a very achievable goal if you have the means. We've seen people try using GoFundMe or other crowd-funding venues to make it happen, Good luck, of course!

I would say it is impossible to predict the future. But anyway, I'm thinking of trying to make a cartoon on my own, mostly technical. As limited as it is.

And then, the problems pointed out by some are a real danger. Because I don't know about you, but in my country setting up a business to become a freelance writer / artist is no fun at all. And the post-creation is even worse.

And to finish it all, (which I will say just reflects my opinion) you have to be popular enough to be able to convince large production companies (mainly in the West) or production committees (only Japan, no idea of the system / mode of other Asian countries) to put their money in our series.

Agree with everything you just said. It's a gamble, like anything else. Especially in other countries.
