I work alone on my comic. I am a traditional artist so, if you do digital art, there isn't much that I can say for you.
What I've found helpful is setting goals works. If you only have 19 pages to do a comic, then that's the size of your canvas. If you only have 30 minutes to draw, then that's the size of your canvas. Since I'm still in school, this comic thing has become a hobby of mine so, I only produce 1-4 pages per week, and that's the size of my canvas!
There will be some pages that I hate, and some pages that I want to redo but, I never redo any pages. That will just take up more time and I just keep moving forward with the plot because, most people don't notice the errors I make.
Traditional art can take up a lot of space and it can be cluttering in my studio (a.k.a. my room) but I prefer doing ink and watercolor rather than on a tablet because it feels natural.
So, yeah. I love working solo even though I do more work. I get more shit done this way.
Just my thoughts ^^
