Does anyone else write on their phone?

I also write on my phone! Not as much as I used to, but I still do. It's good for when I'm out and need to write down ideas.

I have autocorrect turned off cuz of it. That, and all the conlang stuff I do, makes it almost a necessity. Not autocorrect trying to correct my MC's name to Iran.... XD

It’s terrible! I had it autocorrect incantation to incarceration and sip to slip 🤣🤣🤣 and it took me a second to catch it lol

I write mostly on my phone. IDK, it's so much easier to wake up my phone and jot notes down, or use it to reference what I need to write into my comic. ACTUALLY I guess in the case of my comic, first I wrote all my ideas of paper, then fleshed the story out more on my phone...

But if I'm writing something that's not a comic and instead meant to be just read, I still like to jot down ideas and most of the basis for the story on my phone. But I will go to my computer to actually write out the story.

Long story short, I guess my creativity can't be controlled or mitigated and I will write on everything and anything I can in order to create? LOL

On the one hand, I kinda wanna try it just because I always have my phone with me anyway. On the other, I don't think I could do it because I hate autocorrect and I just type faster with an actual keyboard.

I’ve been doing the outline for my next book on my phone because I always have it handy. As for writing the actual books? No, I’m not gonna fat-finger my way through ~150k words on a touch screen

If I'm lying in bed or out and about and I get a flash of inspiration I will jot down notes on my phone.
But no, I'd never properly work on my phone. I feel my eyesight worsening just thinking about it.

Not me; I carry around my laptop 24/7 and can honestly pull it out quicker thab I can my phone lmao XD

I do draw on it though And it's good to know people are writing on it without going insane; I'm not entirely sure I want to get a new laptop once my current one gets confiscated at the end of my postgrad degree

... does you laptop have a terrible battery so it needs to be plugged in 24/7 or something? Or are you averse to carrying backpacks (ideally worn back to front for quick access) or anything large enough to fit a laptop? 'Cos otherwise I don't see how it's time consuming to pull it out; you could just carry it with you like you do your phone Certainly beats going crazy, if you ask me

It's the only way to write in today's modern world.

For context, I'm at home babysitting my first baby, she's a handful, between her, house tasks, and my physical health. My lifestyle has completely changed, my phone makes it incredibly easy to do all my chores.

The only thing I can't do is edit book covers. Usually I have to wait for ryry to take her nap, otherwise she'll keep pressing the keyboard like a cat ^^

HAHA I could foresee myself becoming like this too! It's become impossible (Or at least unwise) for me to write notes down on my computer now. My phone's notes app has spoiled me and I NEED to have colored text now, otherwise things would be an organizational disaster of scrolling through endless unmarked text.

I'll be real. I have a lot of things saved to my phone and put of sheer laziness, I haven't moved it to my computer yet.
