I was just curious to know =D
A tiny bit but not enough to have an elaborate conversation.
it seems like it would be fun to learn,,, ofc i only like thinking of learning languages,,, i will not touch duolingo with a ten foot pole wearing gloves brah
Only an elementary level. I can't even watch most anime without subtitles..
I have a degree in it, and I'm a professional translator. My speaking skills are very rusty, though.
I visited a course a few years ago and I knew hiragana and katakana by heart for a while. But it needs lots of steady exercise, so nowadays I don't really know the alphabets and most kanji I learned anymore. I do recognize them faster than in the beginning but I'm just not interested in investing the time to study it properly...
More time for drawing! ^__^

Enough to have a light conversation with, but I'm definitely not eloquent. Besides, I've gotten rusty.
Really!? =DCould you translate something for me. It's basically just a sentence and nothing more. The reason why I'm asking is because Google translate is not very accurate..What I mean by translate is from English to Japanese, not Japanese to English.
Sorry, I don't really have the time, and while I can write in Japanese, English is my native language. If it's something for a comic, or otherwise meant to look like a native speaker wrote it, then you should find a native speaker.
I took a year of it with the scariest small old lady possible (she made an entire classroom of adults cry) It was a few years back now and I can only read some and understand bits and pieces of things
Yes, but I've been used as a translation slave enough to claim my Japanese is poor in order to avoid the chore. I'm not native, I happen to have a degree in it.
I speak Japanese, Can't promise I can read it very well anymore, because I don't use it. but I can hear it and understand what you are saying, and as long as I'm using it often I can speak it back, or answer back in English. but sadly I don't use it anymore. I don't have any Japanese friends here.
^^"
I do, message me if you have questions. Not native, but advanced - used to live there and do business in Japan.
