Paola and I came up with this one for "Insignificant Otters" the other day while brainstorming for more ideas. We think it could catch on.
Slogans are extremely useful because people don't think about the comic title all the time, and a slogan is a great way to send a brain-worm to your audience. For instance, "I'm Lovin' It" should easily remind you of McDonalds. Nike's "Just do it" is probably just as popular. Slogans should be brief but memorable, and relay to your audience what your comic, or novel, is all about. Like a Hollywood pitch or tag-line but with about 50% less words.
How many of you have a slogan for your work? And if you need help creating one, feel free to let us know.
