Downloadable content on Patreon?

I have tried googling this, but haven’t gotten the answer I am looking for. So I hope some more experienced artist who have Patreon might be able to help.

I am looking into Patreon for the future and would like for one of my rewards to be full pdf downloads of coloring sheets people could print. The problem is I don’t see how this could be distributed to patrons through Patreon. Would I have to host the pdf else where and link to it, or is there a way to do it directly on Patreon that I have overlooked?

If I do have to host it somewhere else then what is the best site to do that and also ensure that only my patrons have access to the download?

When you make a post on Patreon for certain tiers you can attach multiple files from your computer to it so you don't need to host it anywhere else.

You could always upload the file in a post, and make the post available only to patrons. Alternatively, you can rar the file, give it a password, and share the password only with your patrons.

First method is tidier. Hope this helped you.

PDFs are among the allowable files you can attach to posts, you should be fine to upload them that way! if there are multiple, you could always toss them into a .ZIP file and upload that (also allowed!).

When I have multiple files I want to give as a reward I usually collect them all in a .ZIP file then attach that to a patreon post (can be done with a PDF as well), the patreon post would have a banner, here is how it looks visually:

Patrons would be able to download the content just by clicking on the attachement. I think you can attach any file type (.ZIP, .RAR, PDF, MP3, etc) although there is a limit to how big the file can be.
