The front face angle is by far, the hardest to get right, why? Because of the damn symmetry!
Draw a face using the front angle, manually, no tools, axis or mirrors, only one attempt, then flip and show both side by side.

Are you a symmetry genius? (I'm not :p)

Sorry, but that's an excuse, no escuses, front face only, don't avoid it :stuck_out_tongue:

Front face only in this thread...manually! :stuck_out_tongue:

I've tried to draw this angle for 10 years, and failed miserably because of the damn symmetry :stuck_out_tongue:

You guys shouldn't be too hard on yourselves.
Faces aren't supposed to be perfectly symmetrical. We can have symmetrical features, but there's no perfectly symmetrical face. We'd all look weird if they were. :joy:
For example:

jaja ain't that the truth XD

one time they did that to my face and one looked like a drug addict, the other one looked like his dealer while my normal face looks like a murderer =P pretty funny and a hoot at parties

That depends on how far the face is turned away from the beholder. More away-turnt = you see more of the back of the head, the ear covers more of the face, the face is mostly an outline.
If you see more of the face you will see a slight bit of the nose, mostly covered however by the outlines of the cheeks so that the viewer understands the nose isn't growing out of their cheek.

Adding eyelashes or not is up to you.

Thanks Vincent! I might do some studies to get a better feel for the pose...

xD That is true! Though I have noticed, looking at the other pictures, that I more often than not don´t see the mistakes in the unflipped version as much as in the flipped one. Which is very interesting (and gives me the illusion I´m a bit of the hook lol)

Edit: and I mean the drawings of the other people that posted, including you!

ive noticed this too! its heartening. i guess it has smth to do with which one you see first. if you looked at the ones on the right first, the ones on the left would prolly look odd, bc the odd bits would be emphasised by the difference
