October is upon us, and so are all the drawing challenges that come with it. I know that there was some recent controversy with Inktober, but there are other drawing challenges out there from great artists. If you are doing a prompt list this year (Inktober or not), post it here and feel free to post any of your artwork as well. Here the prompt I decided to do this year(even though I really don't have the time )

I haven't time to draw every day, so I decided to follow the list #hallowhimsy by Nadia Rausa! The protagonists are Hana and Bertie from my webcomic ! ^_^

I'm actually going to be doing Inktober...I know there's controversy but... I really liked the prompt list.
If people don't want me to post my entries because of the controversy in this thread, then I'll respect that.
But I really want to do all 31 prompts. They'll go on my Instagram page at least. My goal is to make 31 DoppelRips based off of the prompts.

The choice to do it is yours. I don't think it fair to tell someone to not to do something, especially if you're not hurting anyone. If you want to post your inktober pieces here, you're welcome to.

Cool. Thanks, I don't want to ruffle anyone's feathers on this issue, so I thought it best to make sure it was okay with everyone. I don't see the need to create a whole new thread for my own entries since this one exists.

So, I made an alternative to artists who don't want to do the Inktober, with a little help from @AilyneGouveia, the JOKETOBER Drawing Challenge, where you can draw something silly about your character or anything if you don't have any. @feuersichel Jake Parker the founder of Inktober was accused of plagiarism, and there were some complaints about him copyrighting Inktober. (Though I went on the official page and it all seemed reasonable to me what the regulations were...)

I'm combining OCtober and poscatober, here's my day 1 with a new oc:

unfortunately I always end up impulse buying art supplies this month and I just dumped $70 on a complete posca color set and a marker sketchbook

tbh I probably would have still been doing Inktober this year had it not been such a bizarre year and may participate again in the future, but for this year I decided to throw together a custom OC-tober prompt list instead~ I'm low on traditional art supplies and space & busy with other projects... so I'm just gonna take it easy and draw characters that I don't have to think too hard about lol

This is the list I'll be tackling, covering 31 of my characters from 4 comics past, present, and future!

Aww man, they should've posted that earlier! It's usually best to make up your mind near september to prepare ideas ahead of time, it's a good list but it's no good for me.

Alrighty, here goes with the first piece!

This one is a strange one to start on because he's technically a would-be TreasureHUNT!! character... but he was one of the 4 characters that got cut in editing xD Even so he's fun to draw, so yeah!

Jennifer's Body is my first inky this year. I'm a rebel and draw what I want when I feel like it! I like to do a lot of spooky horror stuff during October.
