Well without going into much details (coz it might be boring for some), there's a whole bunch of psychological test that involves drawing, so what you draw and how you draw it reveals your personality.
To give you an answer, why do we need a test, because, yes, all of that is at an unconscious level. Peeps tend to draw what they like, or ideal versions of things. You filter styles everyday and pick up things of styles that you find attractive.
If you think for a moment you don't go, wow I hate this ears of mine, now every character will have this ears I hate. Wooow I hate this style, why do they draw like this?, now I'm gonna draw like this and make 3 comics with this horrible style. Not exactly how it works for most people.
Another thing that's important to mention, one thing is that you like to draw something in an specific way, again, let's say big ears, another thing is that you sexualize big ears. Some artists may, some may not,
