Ending a series?

Does the ending means that it’s over? Will Tapas featured already complete series?
I’m just curious, my comic is far from done and/or getting featured seem quite impossible, but still! I’m curious

idk, I still see the Odd1sout featured on the front page all the time and I'm pretty sure that series been dead for at least 4 years now.

I can't speak for featuring however you do have the ability to toggle Complete series on and off. I know I completed a series a few months ago and someone decided to put it in the Binge section of the site. Tho I don't understand how those are chosen.

@NickRowler There was a thread that went up at some point from one of the mods mentioning that staff would be looking at series marked as complete to add to the binge section so as long as it's been toggled on (and it meets whatever curation criteria) there's opportunity for to be placed in there

as for "does the ending mean it's over" depends entirely on the creator. Some folks will continue to do bonus episodes, epilogue or post extra content to completed series so there's still something for long time followers to look at or it's just marked as done and left for folks to binge read (hence completed comics/novels getting added to the binge section)

My novel has been put to complete 2 weeks ago.
It never got featured or staff pick.
But it still gets reads every day

Yeah, my comic Demon House finished earlier this year and was a Staff Pick for the first time ever like last week.

I have a completed one shot that gets a couple views/readers every now and again since it ended.

Something I loved about SmackJeeves was that there was a 'Completed' section. Would love to see something like that here.

They say there is a chance to get into a Binged section (that is supposed to highlight the completed stories). Plus, if you start new series, people who read that will see your other works on the side bar when they read. If they like what you have now, they might check out the other stories & if they still hold a place on popular after completion, Staff Pick may be a possibility?

Heh, I am hoping for some traffic after completion, because I complete fast.

Not all the comics in the Binge section are complete, some of them are also longish series that also appear in the popular tab that are active and still updating. It just feels like a popular 2.0 with a few complete series sprinkled in.

There is pretty much nothing there in free Novels in that tab in my genre, so it’s hard to judge.

there could be an episode margin if it's not complete then having at least x amount of episodes. Given the pretty large (read: very) amount of series on this site staff or whoevers checking series probably has to go through tons upon tons of comics and novels to find stuff, so it's probably a little quicker to tab through things either marked as complete or going through popular series with a large enough number of episodes to be considered bingeworthy
