Ever been late updating?

I don't have an updating schedule. With work and school being my bigger priorities, I make time when I can.

I'm open about it with my readers, and I find ways to still engage with them on and off the site. They are supportive, active people, so I am always happy to communicate and let them know what's up.

None of them have ever pressured me for updates and I don't make big money from this, so why feel guilty?

I try to stay way ahead. I'll set up the next episode of my novel for release right after the last one came out. I hate having a deadline nipping at my heels.

We've got three artists to juggle. We don't believe in updating on a schedule, and we're not the type to whip our staff into shape and do what we want. Besides, scheduling like that just adds more stress, I believe. Art needs time to exist, and I'm sure fans understand that on a whole.

Currently, I'm not having problems with scheduling and being late because in general, I'm an episode ahead of the actual uploaded episodes or pages. It's not necessarily because my readers are holding me at gunpoint for it either... I don't have the reader-base for that yet. But I keep up the schedule because it's also a challenge for me to take out quality drawings in that time frame.

The more I draw the better I get! If I am late its usually not by a lot anyways.
