Just the first page of a six page excerpt from ten years ago (...wow). I posted this on my DeviantArt page (that’s long been deactivated.)
This was my first time trying to make a comic like the “big boys do.” This was also my second time making something digitally— I was still trying to get the hang of how Autodesk Sketchbook worked, as well as my Wacom Intuos 4 (shit broke 3 years later too).

(Slight) Context
During my first year in highschool, my english class had a creative assignment based on the current reading, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, and I, in all my freshman school kid wisdom, decided to do something I’ve never done before over the course of one day (or a week, I really don’t remember. A day just sounded more dramatic tbh).
The emotional turmoil that I went through trying to make this is now fascinating, lol, especially now since I went through something similar. I think I got the hang of things now though, lol.
