Experience with WebComics App?

Since they are still in their "growing" years/stage, they are more attentive to their artists and open to suggestions and I even gave them the suggestion of scouting on webtoon discover and tapas for new artists that maybe interested in working with them which may explain the huge influx of emails being sent out by them haha.

To be honest, I just gotten tired of not really being promoted by webtoons other than that short 2 weeks of freshpicks and the few days in recommended during the contest. It's kinda funny in a sense since on the day I accepted my exclusive contract with the WebComics App, I saw my contest entry getting an honorable mention by webtoons XD. I guess I was tempted to maybe go back and stay. But then I thought, I've been posting with them for 3 years (that first 2 under a different name) and if it took them this long to just barely notice/acknowledge me with really no guarantee of them actually giving the promotion and attention for my comic that I'm hoping for, I decided that I might as well leave the platform for now and go take and invest in the new opportunity I was just given since I wasn't really leaving too much to begin with (never peaked over 40K subs to give you a picture which is kinda low considering my genre and art style). And with the success I'm having so far, I'm glad I took my chances with them.
and thanks for checking out my comic! I saw yours and I haven't come across many mystery genre comics (which is a nice find for me since I actually really like reading mysteries/thrillers). I really like the story so far and your art style is gorgeous so I'll definitely be keeping tabs on it!

Hey, so for those on non-exclusive contracts do they still get monetization then? Or is that only offered for exclusive comics?

Non-exclusive comics receive monetization if you're in the top 300 viewed comics on the site.

I was actually thinking of starting up a comic solely for exclusive posting on their site. Since they have such a low panel and upload requirement, but still will pay a minimum fee for anyone uploading exclusives to their site, it's tempting for some extra pocket change for maybe 1-2 days of work a month.

How many panels are they asking for and how many times do someone have to post in a week? I also thought about it but id like to know the requirements before I even begin. do you know?

Its 25 panels per update three times a month! Im only considering it because they extended me an offer to be reviewed for exclusive, so make sure to ask whatever webcomics rep you reach out to to see if theyll consider you ^^

just a small correction, 3 times a month is for exclusive comics. non-exclusive is 2 times a month (so overal 50 panels a month aka less than 2 panels a Day work wise) - so it’s actually pretty lax! if you don’t manage your quota you still get paid, only with a 20% fine.

I understand that lol. it Is not a lot they are asking for but for me I won't even be able to deliver. even though it seems like less work for you its way too much work me because like I mentioned earlier, I have a full-time job with takes up most of my time, I have Patreon, I work on two comics, incentives and other stuff and family. with that being said, it just won't work lol. I was just curious to know what it all entails.

After you sign the things and such, there is 1 to 2 month wait time. I got everything to them super fast so they are starting my upload on Monday. So it just depends.

I took a while to submit the episodes (reworking some stuff), but they started uploading my content today, after 5 weeks Takes some time apparently. Good luck!

I want to contribute Hexameron there too, does anyone know what are their requirements for the image resolution? Will webtoons 800px wide will do or is it better to post something bigger? Cannot find this info anywhere.

They want 1080 wide. They will slice for you as they post it.
