Exporting on Clip Studio Paint Advice

Hey, does anyone have advice for exporting in CSP. I usually make my canvas size at 1800 x 2400px but whenever I want to export to something of a smaller size, I always have to do a size that is only CLOSE to what I want.

For example, right now I want to update my comic cover but I can't get it to 960 x 1440px. The closest I could get was 960 x 1280px. I don't know if there's a way to get to the correct export size without changing the canvas size initially.

Does anyone know how I can get around this??

you can't specify the width as you export?

EDIT: OK I just realized your problem--you gotta resize your picture to the same ratio as your final product.

Hmm, the only thing I can think of is putting the exported file into an online resizer and manually putting in the parameters. This is the one I often use:

I will say that 960 X 1280 is the size that keeps the canvas at equivalent length to 1800 X 2400 without stretching out the image (either vertically or horizontally). If you'd want that parameter, the starting the width would have to be 1600 (so 1600 X 2400) or the starting height to be 2700 (1800 X 2700).

Now if you're asking to splice as well as resize, CSP does have a feature like that for webtoons.

I think this is the main problem you're experiencing. To save a file at 960 x 1440 px you have to start on a canvas proportionally larger like 4000 x 6000. Unless you want to stretch/compress or crop the image.

I use the free program GIMP to get stuff to specific sizes. The sizing and cutting tools measure everything to the pixel.
