Extreme art comparison (mid 90's art)

Yesterday I logged into a really old Photobucket account I opened in the early 2000's and found some art I did before I even had internet access in the mid 90's.

I don't feel very good about my art as I don't think it's particularly good, but at least I didn't get worse XD

I have been wanting to make my comic for like 5 years. Once upon a time I actually started creating pages for it, then stopped and moved on to a ton of other things. Only recently have I come back to attempt it again, and I've had a lot of 'how it started/how it's going' moments as I redraw the scenes from my first attempt. I've had the same thing with my writing. Jeezus H Jones I made some really cringy dialogue back in 2016, but that's harder to illustrate in snapshots.

My issue is one of demand.

That makes me sad to hear. I think your art is really good. The 90s art, while old, shows you were beginning to understand anatomy, perspective, composition - all the way back then. That current piece is beautiful! Nice lighting, adorable character, good use of textures, etc. You're doing great work!

Yeah, dialogue is an art on itself!
I don't think I write brilliant dialogue, but I went back to re-read my first webcomic and it was just painful! XD
You really get better at it with practice!

Going digital has really allowed me to experiment and evolve a bit faster than when I was doing traditional art.
CTRL-Z is my co-pilot!
