- Invader Zim (So overrated it hurts. It doesn't help that I worked at a Hot Topic once..)
- The Oblongs (Just...why. Why does it even exist?)
- Ergo Proxy (I can go on and on about what a huge effing letdown this series was.)

I really am surprised that I can't think of more shows I dislike, in general I tend to be pretty vocal about things I don't like when they are on my mind. Right now though, I can't remember any more. XD

Oh man, favourites? Leaving aside One Piece (oh One Piece, you are my one true animated love <3 <3 <3) on the anime side of things, let's get to it!

Favourites

Steven Universe - There are no WORDS for how much I love this show. I only catch it when it airs on TV, because I'm a very busy person, which means I haven't seen ALL of it, but what I HAVE seen has been absolutely brilliant. It's just so friendly. It's like someone throwing the door open and giving you a big hug and welcoming you inside. I love pretty much all of them, including Steven's lazy-pants dad, but Garnet is my favourite. She's the coolest! <3

Over the Garden Wall - again, I still haven't seen all of it, but oh my gosh. I did NOT expect to be so spooked by a cartoon for a younger demographic, but OtGW scared the pants off me. This may or may not be because I'm a big old scaredy-cat, but STILL. Also: I saw the cutest Wirt-cosplayer at the last con I was at and it was the cutest.

Gravity Falls - Same as with OtGW. There's just something about the mystery and the adventure and the absolutely GORGEOUS settings that gets my heart beating.

Adventure Time - always weird, always entertaining, always full of things that make you go "Wait, did they just...?"

Avatar the Last Airbender - I think I'm the only person alive on the internet who still hasn't managed to get through all of the episodes? I've got the box set, and crammed season 1+2 last time I had a cold, and I'm waiting for a good opportunity to binge on season 3. I'm gonna go out on a limb and put The Legend of Korra here too, because what I've seen of it has been amazing.

Honourable mentions here, as I'm sure you were looking for current shows, not ones that haven't aired in years: TaleSpin, Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers and Pirates of Dark Water. Also, Batman: The Animated Series will always and forever be my definitive version of Batman.

Least Favourite

South Park, Family Guy, and American Dad - These all end up in the same box for me. The box of stuff that I REALLY don't find funny, and that for me don't accomplish much in the way of straight up satire either. I know that at least South Park attempts social commentary at times, but it's just.... buried under a lot of stuff that makes me desperately want to change the channel and also maybe go wash my hands. It fails that most basic test of comedy - it's not funny. Add to that the constant gory violence and/or blatant sexual jokes, and it is SO not for me.

My number one favorite overall is bleach made by Kubo Tite, it is even my source of inspiration for my comic THE LAST SAMURAI http://tapastic.com/series/THE-LAST-SAMURAI http://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/the-last-samurai/list?title_no=15779 and if I should list some other shows I'll call out The boondocks as one of my favorites in terms of comedy and my worst overall to the point I stop watching it at the age of 7 if I remember correctly was Dora the Explorer and I would have also mentioned Barney and Teletubies since I stopped watching them at a young age also but I dont think I can classify their show as animated.

Dave, The Barbarian: (sorry, I think that's the name in english, I don't remember well), Dave gave me good memories with all their characters, their adventures (?), the goddamn dragon of Dave which never did a thing except fart. I still remember the "and then Dave improvised a megaphone using a squirrell, a rope, and.....a megaphone"

Oh my god, someone else remembers that show. I was beginning to think I only imagined it XD

Disney made a bunch of cool shows that no one seemed to watch back then. Does anyone even remember stuff like Brandy and Mr. Whiskers? Everyone has already named most of my favorite shows but I'll add some overlooked Disney Channel shows from the era like Teacher's Pet, Recess, and The Weekenders

EDIT: OH YEAH AND THEN THERE'S THE CARTOON SO OVERLOOKED I KEEP FORGETTING ABOUT IT EVEN THOUGH IT'S MY FAVORITE EVER: FILLMORE!

Haven't seen Voltron, but I remember every time my older brother and I would watch Zoids, I'd run off and draw our Zoids for us so we could think up what attacks they'd have and what our team name would be. ^////^ Ahh, fond memories~

-Amazing World of Gumball - Possibly my most favorite show of all time! xD
- Regular Show - I love all the subtle adult humor they throw in to the show from time to time!
- Hey Arnold! - This show insights memories of 6th grade, that and I still watch the show today sometimes.
- Totally Spies - I have no idea why I even like this show, I just do xD
- Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends - Too funny of a show to not like :

It's so awesome to see other Miraculous Ladybug fans! I've been a fan since the PV came out and, even though I'm a 2D animation diehard, I am very impressed by the high quality CGI. It's a great show, everyone should watch!

Other favorites:
Oban Star Racers--Japanese/French production, kind of reminds me of Zoids a little with the mix of 2D and 3D. A great story that really pushes what a kids show can do and one hell of an English cast!

Cybersix-- A dark superhero/sci-fi show with a similar look to other 90s superhero shows, Cybersix is way too short at 13 episodes, but just incredible. Awesome music and atmosphere

ATLA/LOK--Epic storytelling and a fantastic sense of worldbuilding, topped with fantastic animation

Batman the Animated Series--This is the quintessential Batman. When I think of Batman, this is it

Over the Garden Wall--Dark, fantasy, eccentric adventure with gorgeous animation? Yes please

I had to get the word out on a couple of cartoons that I haven't seen listed yet:

Favourites:

Undergrads - I watched this show religiously every night as a teen. It's basically a college life survival guide comedy, that has 4 very relatable main characters, who you've probably known in your life in some form or another. It's actually my favourite animated show that I'm highly nostalgic for. I even had to buy 2 copies of the box set of this criminally cancelled-before-it's-time 13 episode series in case something happened to one copy.

Clone High - A show that I somehow missed in my teen years, that ran close to Undergrads' schedule. My wife introduced me to this show years later, and I was hooked. It's got a similar feeling to Undergrads. It's a little zanier, and deals with High School life, but I still love it. It follows a cast of genetically copied clones of historical figures like Abraham Lincoln, Gandhi, Joan of Arc, etc, as they go about their school year in another case of a 13 episode series that was cancelled before it's time.

Cybersix - Thank you for mentioning this mjmassey! Yet ANOTHER 13 episode series that ended too soon! I loved the art style, music and atmosphere to this show. I get highly nostalgic whenever I think about it.

Red vs. Blue Not traditionally animated by any means, but I've been a huge fan of this witty machinima series for 13 years. I can't wait until season 14. It started off as a very humorous series for it's first 5 seasons, and then branched off into having a very engaging story, peppered with awesome action scenes, while still retaining it's humour for the latter seasons.

And others that I enjoy are Reboot, American Dad, South Park, Rick and Morty (which I've just become a huge fan of), Simpsons (Seasons 1 to 9), Futurama, and...I'm probably going to get maimed for this...but Family Guy. I don't really care what people say. I don't watch the show for deep messages and themes. My wife and I just enjoy the humour, even if it's not everyone's cup of tea. I just don't take it seriously at all. I vastly prefer American Dad though. At least from Seasons 1 to 8.

Least Favourite Shows

Archer - For some reason, everyone I know LOVES Archer, but I just find it's characters and humour very one dimensional. Everyone seems to only have one trait, except for maybe Archer, and everyone keeps making the same jokes about every character. After 9 episodes, my wife and I got bored fast.

King of the Hill - Just...boring. Words can't describe how bored I get watching this show. That's probably why I never stuck around.

Also, pretty much anything on PBS is my jam. Arthur, Sagwa, Cyberchase, Liberty's Kids. I watched all of them when I was little and I love the homey feeling they give me. XD

Things I don't like?
Uh… pretty much anything with random humor. I don't like Looney Tunes or Tom and Jerry. Spongebob. The Amazing World of Gumball really bothers me. I don't like anything geared to a more adult audience. Aaaaaaand Steven Universe frustrates the heck outta me.

i really like steven universe! i've been ""pretty involved"" in the fandom for a while now but i tend to bail out every time drama happens. i've gotten pretty good at ignoring it bcuz it's just not worth it to me to let those people ruin the show for me. it has a great cast and such a cute style - and the story is really great tbh!! i agree w ppl who said that the beginning is really slow, though. there's an obvious improvement in both art and writing after the first 20 episodes. i just love seeing cool young girl characters like connie + lgbt coded charcaters like ahhh if 'd had either of those when i was growing up, i would have felt really affirmed

i also really adore gravity falls and into the garden wall. they both influence my art and writing a lot

studio ghibli films like howl's moving castle and prince mononoke are also huuuuge influences that i still love

as far as shows i DISLIKE
i hate south park and family guy so much
my little brother watches them FEVERISHLY and i can't stand them
i hate shock value "adult humor"
