Favorite Movie Villain Song

Reason I'm making this thread is because I found out I have a favorite movie villain song and I never really noticed it until now and I was like "Oh yeah... this IS a villain song is it?".

It's from the film Macross Plus and while it only plays for like... ten seconds in the film, when you listen to it in the album it's REALLY fascinating and sums up the movie's themes perfectly.

Like she was partly created by this creepy scientist who built a literal idol he could worship. She has the power to control people through the chemicals inside people's brains (they all act like zombies on ecstasy). One of the movie's themes is what it means to be human and how music stimulates the soul vs music stimulating the chemicals in your body which is really neat. The voice of the machine's whole arc is not becoming a corporate sell out (literally selling her soul) while the machine is this crazy robot (the body). I recommend people check the movie out.

Especially in the Winter. I dunno why, I feel like it's the perfect Winter movie despite it NOT taking place in that season.

Also, as of the most recent Macross movie that went back to the thing from Macross Plus, any of the Yami_Q_Ray song but especially Diva In Abyss. Divas created from the same tech as Sharon Apple and the weaponization of idols and music within the series and why is ok for the heroes to use psychic, mind control idols and using these dark idols to expose what the heroes have been doing all this time.

I have always been a fan of villian songs! There's so much to choose from but since I can't decide I will leave my top three.

Honestly I don't know if he can be considered a villian but he can make a good song.

I love all the songs from the movie but this one for some reason is my favorite.

And we gotta love some good manipulation in the form of a song.

Santi-U is so great. Bad Dog is another cool one where it sounds like a metaphor for primitive people ascending.

Also... wow... haven't caught up on Macross for a while (I stopped at Zero and never went past that). Kinda wished they kept the Sharon Apple incident alone since Plus was supposed to be a small movie and nothing more. Wish they'd brought Yoko back to do the soundtrack too. Like this sounds fine, but what hooked me on the original was the mellow hypnotic sounds (with Information High being the only one where Sharon was cutting loose).

@NickRowler Was listening to Hellfire like all Christmas. Really wish they don't do a live action film on this one. I dunno if this song (or this plotline) would be included lmao.
