Favourite traditional food in your country or state or city or culture or whatever!

Hey people!! I'm back and here I am with a interesting question for you. What is your fauvorite traditional food ? For me it's something called "completos", completos are traditional in my country, they are asome sort of hot dog, but the sausage is made of chicken in most cases and we add tomato, avocado, mayonesse, ketchup and muztard. There are variation where you can add almost whatever you want, fried eggs,french potatos, lettuse, boiled cabage, BBQ sauce, beef, pork, turkey. In some places you can buy for 2 dollar a 1 metter completo. I never get tired of it!!! The food here is so tasty I love it!!!!

I`m a big fan of empanadas. Specially the ones filled with cheese.

I'm super fan of a lot of food from my country, but I think my favourites are Porotos con riendas (beans, noodles and sausage)

And Pastel de choclo (corn pie. It's like a corn pudding filled with meat, onions, eggs and other things)

Lao sticky rice, I know it's a really basic everyday part eating but I still very love it. 1000 times better than other rice, goes with almost everything.

Lao pho too if you want more of a meal type food.

Oh my god, so many amazing foods. But what does my state have....

-Del's lemonade. It's just frozen lemonade and really yummy.
-Pizza strips. A strip of dough/bread with tomato sauce on it served cold. Soooooo good, but either people love them or hate them.
-New York system weiners. I don't live in New York, they're not from New York, but that's what we call them. It's similar to a hot dog, but a bit smaller and a different taste. They have a lot of toppings on them.
-Quahogs. It's a big clam.
-Coffee milk. Not something I personally like since I don't like coffee.
-Vinegar on french fries. Not bad, but I prefer ketchup.

Also, fun fact: I found out recently it's illegal to serve lobster tail as a "side dish" here. Which probably explains why we don't have a Red Lobster. lol

I've been born and raised in Chicago, and it's like a hub of cultural foods. I like to get a taste of all the places I can, especially downtown. But if there's at least one thing we're known for, it's our Chicago-styled Hot Dogs!

Don't know if I have a favorite, but can't go wrong with a whole Chinese steamed fish in a light soy sauce.

And from California (ok In-N-Out has expanded to a few other states, but they're a Cali staple)

And in my current city, we've got a great selection of Vietnamese places.

my favourite is in barking - it gets cheaper and better the further into london you get (until you break zone 1. nothing cheap or good in zone one)
