Hey Tapas Community! This is a little out of the norm, but I'm currently pitching my in-progress graphic novel Stop Watchers (which can be read right here on Tapas!) to literary agents. All agents require you submit a query letter of some sort. With each submission I think it gets a little better as I make adjustments, but because they've all been rejections so far, I have no feedback on how the letter actually is. I figured I'd post my most recent version here and see what people think of it! Let me know what's good along with what you think are the weak points that need to be better.
Thank you for taking the time to read through this and give your opinion, I really appreciate it!!

Hello [Literary Agent Name],
Harper Wells was a lonely video store employee who spent her entire life wondering where she belonged and accidentally traveling two years into the future with a trio of time travelers might finally give her that answer. I am seeking representation for Stop Watchers, my first graphic novel targeted for a middle grade to young adult audience. I think it would be a great fit with you and [Agency Name] ..... [here's where I'd add a couple sentences that directly relates to either the agent or the agency on why Stop Watchers is a good fit for them].
After tripping two years into the future, to the year 1995, Harper’s life becomes even more strange (as if accidentally time traveling wasn’t enough). At first she’s resistant when approached by the trio of time travelers who call themselves Stop Watchers. They explain that their job is to prevent people from changing the past and soon Harper forms a strong bond with the team, especially their leader Ryder Hardwin. The team decides they have no choice but to let Harper tag along on their adventure while they try to find the slippery time criminal they’ve been pursuing. Things become even more complicated once Harper begins exhibiting powers to change a person's past and when their perp mysteriously stops running, and starts hunting Harper instead.
Stop Watchers has a fully written script with twelve chapters, each coming out to be a little over 20 pages each. I am the artist and writer for Stop Watchers, and spent a year and a half writing the full book before drawing a single panel. Professionally I am a graphic designer for a university in Milwaukee, WI, having won multiple educational advertising awards for my work. Although graphic design is my job, creating characters and stories is my passion.
In this document you will find a full synopsis for Stop Watchers along with the first two chapters, equaling a little over 50 pages.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
