Hah, see I read it already before you made this thread!
I thought the pacing and situation development was done well.
I would've liked to see some more interactions between the royals and the plebs before they were outed.
Peggy/Piggy is easily the most memorable and interesting character in the comic so far. I hope we see more of her.
It came a bit quickly. I think there was more potential in the scene you set up than what you ended up with. I rather felt like the episode was neatly tied up rather than cliffhanger-ed. "Princess looks irritated in papparazzi photo," doesn't seem like it would be too serious of an infraction compared to what real modern royals like the King of Thailand get up to. But I will be reading the next episode.
The intro was fine except if it comes at the expense of wilder shenanigans at the cafe! I wanted the situation to devolve much further.
Piggy's character design and the Barista's design are broadly very similar so it takes me a second to figure out which one is which in closeups. I am not one to complain about people with brown hair, blue eyes, and freckles - my phenotype is rare in fiction - but since their freckles are the same and their bangs are mostly the same, it does create some conflation. Part of that might just be due to the art style you've chosen, but maybe some more variety in head and silhouette shapes would help.
I would also like to see the art be less flat. More dynamic camera angles, with high and low-angle shots and some more dimensionality and body language to the character art. Maybe some additional physical comedy gags could be worked in.
It might be worth checking out Gisele Lagace's SFW comics, she usually does an excellent job of pulling maximum humor out of a situation and letting things go wild.
I think there's a lot to like in this comic and look forward to the next installment!
