So in episode 37 of my novel that I released today, the main characters finally arrived at the destination that they'd originally left for all the way back in episode 12, which was released back on August 24, 2025. In time in the story, they'd left a little before 11AM and then arrived about 2:40 PM of the same day, so a little under four hours. In real time, it has been 25 weeks (almost 6 months) between the 'leaving' and 'arriving' episodes.
To honor this little fourth wall fact, I put this tidbit in the story dialogue:
Oh, it felt so good to finally rest and sit down for something to eat!
“Yay! We finally get to eat! It feels like it’s been ages since we left the shop.”
Amy smiled at Bri repeating what she’d been thinking. As she dug into her noodles, she pointed out,
“It’s been less than four hours, Bri. You make it sound like it’s been months.”
Bri sighed as she cut her huge stuffed mushroom into smaller pieces.
“I know, but it still feels like a whole different day"
Anyone else have some additional fun 'fourth wall' stories they'd like to share?
